Let's see, if a Muslim clerk refused to marry Christians, would that be a problem? What if a Jewish clerk refused to marry atheists? Or a Baptist clerk refused to marry an Episcopalian and a Presbyterian?
And, one last freakin' time. Civil rights for gays isn't going to F**king lead to civil rights for rocks, pencils, pieces of paper, goats, chickens, DVDs, and so on. None of those can sign a legal agreement and for all you idiots out there a civil marriage (you know, the one that gives you all sorts of fucking rights that a religious marriage does not) is a legal agreement.
